I was a big fan of book #1, How to Rock Braces & Glasses, but for some reason, I got halfway through this ane, and never picked information technology up again. It didn't feel as fresh, but rather like some other installation in a brand - could have had something to practice with the plug for the Nickolodeon show on the cover. I loved this book though it wasn't as goods as the first, it was even so very adept. I would've changed somethings in the ending. Just overall it was great! DNF. It was like she learns these lessons in the first book and so throws it all away in the second... She started to annoy me and then is stopped caring what happened to her
Even Better and so the first! And so much unexpected events! And moments that will make yous feel utterly inspired! Amazingly told, and very much enjoyed! I think that when she completely forgets the lessons in the first volume that makes me curious on what happens next! In my opinion I notice information technology unexpected to have the master character forget a lesson, while in other stories ( in my opinion) the lesson is not forgotten but taught.
I got the starting time volume for cheap and checked this out from the library when I finally made myself read the get-go book. Again the only thing negative I'll say about this book is that the kids act older than the 7th graders they are. Apparently its is/was (not going to cheque) a tv prove on Nickelodeon and so I guess the books are done. Pretty decent read and glad the characters ultimately made changes for the amend. Then good! This one is nevertheless a rollercoaster of emotion, merely it doesn't have the aforementioned empowerment that the kickoff 1 did! Only I do recommend reading this series; it has a sure way of making y'all feel awesome and amazing!!!☺☺ So skillful! This one is still a rollercoaster of emotion, but it doesn't have the same empowerment that the first one did! How to Stone Pause-ups and Make-ups was kinda funny. I think the kids in the story were xiii simply to me they acted a lot older and then that.
It was just a niggling improve even so

I loved this sequel from How To Rock Break-Ups and Brand-Ups. Information technology had connected to the kickoff book but also if you didn't read the beginning book y'all're not completely lost. Still, information technology does connect the topics. I would give this book a iv considering the events were very predictable and the outcome was also anticipated. On the other hand, there were some parts that were very unpredictable so it was a good mix. In this book the characters were very developed as well and by adding a new graphic symbol it made the book more than exciting. ...more
Kacey is back and her whiny, self-involved vox is as shrill equally always. Fifty-fifty though she'due south turned over a new leafage from being overly critical to cautiously optimistic, she'southward still rather self-involved. Of course, that's nothing compared to her friend Molly who acts then aggressively threatening, self-important and illogical, you wonder how Kacey or everyone tin can stand to be in her company. Molly is also a stern abet of the Girl Code, which is such an atrocious bit of double standard you don't know whet Kacey is back and her whiny, cocky-involved vocalization is equally shrill as e'er. Molly is besides a stern abet of the Girl Code, which is such an atrocious bit of double standard yous don't know whether to express joy or groan.Zander comes off as such a saint to the fretful Kacey; it's inexplainable that he would want her every bit a girlfriend. Time and over again, she blows him off, misleads him, lies to him or behaves with thoughtless selfishness.
To exist fair, Kacey is a teenager and teenagers are supposed to be cocky-indulgent—to a indicate. Also, her ghastly mistakes eventually catch up to her and she deals with them with a surprising amount of humility and the decision to make amends.
The author remains truthful to the various voices of her characters and the situations band true with the brittleness of awkward conversations, the cluelessness of boys who but don't become girls (or fifty-fifty know when a situation has reached the boiling betoken) or the unbridgeable gap between children and their (old) parents. This is a good follow-up to the original novel but is definitely made to appeal to the youth crowd.

So I read the get-go book virtually a twelvemonth ago and loved it! A few days agone I was doing my weekly capacity shopping and saw that at that place was a 2nd book! Now I had thought that how to rock was a stand alone but as information technology turns out this is the 2nd! So I instantly bought it. Maybe there will be a third??? Love the graphic symbol of Stevie she actually has a lot of depth to her. I notice that the story line with Paige and the ballot was a bit boring and the plan to become the parents apart was a bit unrealistic. The thing nigh this volume is i can very much chronicle to it fifty-fifty though I'm in high schoolhouse considering the characters are somewhat innocent unlike a lot of other teen fiction and this volume shows not every teen is totally screwed up. But my all time favourite part of this volume and the one earlier is Liv! She is exactly like me! Her character is so advanced and has so many levels to her I would love to see more of her and Nessa in future books! All in all I did really like this book but it did not actually live upwardly to the standards of the kickoff volume. ...more than
Not as good every bit book i, simply nonetheless entertaining plenty. I just can't get over all of the horrible things Kacey gets upwardly to - but I definitely beloved information technology when they backlash (and when they all get sorted out)! A smashing, fun romp perfect for children grade five-8. (Though I can't believe anyone lets 12-year-erstwhile kids drink THAT much coffee! I really enjoyed this little serial. It was actually good at showing the life of a immature teenage girl going through jealousy with boys. It as well shows what young teenage girls become through when their parents start dating.
I recommend this to all immature teenage girls.
Information technology was just as good equally the outset. When I beginning met Stevie, I didn't similar her. And so by the end of the volume, I withal didn't similar her. I would have changed a couple parts of the catastrophe simply it was even so a great book. It was but equally good every bit the beginning. When I offset met Stevie, I didn't similar her.
